HIGH LEVEL MEETING ON TRANSPORT STUDY AND PROJECTS IN THE DANUBE MACRO-REGION

The high-level meeting on the Danube macro-region transport was organized for high-level representatives from all 14 countries which are part of the EU Strategy for the Danube region (EUSDR), representatives from the European Commission and the EIB.
Aim of the meeting was to discuss results of the first transport study for the Danube macro-region and projects that bring added value to the great part of all the macro-region. In this context, the high-level meeting was said to be the right forum for having a strategic discussion concerning further enhanced cooperation and coordination of activities carried out by the Priority Area 1b in order to improve mobility and multimodality in the field of road, rail and air transport in the Danube macro-region.
The meeting was organized by the Serbian Ministry of Construction,Transport and Infrastructure and the Slovenian Ministry of Infrastructure Priority Area coordinators.
